UET Construction has begun construction of a solar power plant in Angren.
UET Construction has officially launched construction of a new solar power plant in Angren, a project aimed at developing renewable energy and increasing the region's energy resilience. The project is part of a national program to expand the use of clean energy sources and modernize Uzbekistan's energy infrastructure.
The solar power plant will be equipped with modern, high-efficiency panels and monitoring technologies, ensuring stable generation and high performance. UET Construction specialists are performing a comprehensive range of work on the project, including site preparation, civil engineering, installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, and commissioning.
Company representatives note that the project is of strategic importance: it will increase the share of alternative energy, reduce the burden on existing generation sources, and contribute to a reduction in CO₂ emissions. Particular attention is being paid to compliance with international quality, safety, and environmental standards.
According to the implementation plan, construction of the plant will be completed on schedule. Once commissioned, the power plant will provide the region with additional capacity and contribute to the sustainable development and energy independence of Angren and the surrounding areas.
